ATTENTION TEACHERS:
ADD CHESS TO YOUR TOOLBOX
There once was a little group of educator chessplayers in Seattle, who observed that chess benefits kids in several ways, i.e. by teaching thinking skills. So they started the Seattle Chess Foundation, and it grew rapidly, so they changed the name to America's Foundation for Chess. Their 'First Move' program is now taught in school classrooms in 26 states, and Idaho has become the first state to offer a state-wide chess curriculum, using their program. Check it out, and consider employing it in your school or school district.
